Biography

Brianda Ulloa, PA-C is Physicians Assistant specializing in Endocrinology. Brianda is a proud graduate of Western University of Health Sciences, where she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. With a strong commitment to patient care and a passionfor the complexities of endocrine health.

Brianda shares, “My position as an endocrinology PA came as a wonderful surprise. Coming out of PA school I knew I wanted to be part of a specialty that would be bothrewarding and challenging. One of my greatest passions is giving back to the His panic and Native American community and being an endocrinology PA allows me to put my passion into practice. As a child I never fully understood why my grandmother wasafflicted with diabetes and witnessed how it transformed her. I watched how over the years my talented grandmother lost her ability to work as a hair stylist because of thediminished sensation of her hands and worsening eyesight. This memory motivates meevery single day as I step into work. I can now provide the tools and resources necessary to treat diabetes and its complications. The conversations I hold with my grandmother are the same types of conversations I now have in the clinical setting on a daily basis. Endocrinology is not straightforward, it entails understanding various pathways and loop systems. I have to integrate multiple aspects of healthcare with in each visit, ensuring that I am incorporating enough time for the patient to comprehend the complexity of their endocrine condition. Diabetes is one of the most common chronic conditions among many ethnic groups so understanding how to manage it is extremely fundamental. The journey thus far has been great and an amazing learning experience overall. I look forward to seeing how I continue to grow as an endocrinology PA.”
