Brief Overview:

The Manager of Business Operations is responsible for the operations of TeleMed2U under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer. You will work hand-in-glove with our Directors of Clinical Ops across business divisions to achieve operational excellence for the Ops function. Some of the area of focus for this role are direction and implementation of new service lines or growth initiatives, identifying and implementing process efficiencies, facility maintenance, ownership of care coordination backlog and patient flow, non-clinical audits, credentialing, and client grievances.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a strategic and operations focused leader that strives to achieve Operational Excellence in all areas of the business driving revenue growth.
  • Analyze data to look at trends and find problems, actively identifies process efficiencies and owns the end-to-end process for developing solutions to those problems, and implementation in collaboration with other directors and leadership team.
  • Directs and assumes responsibility for the systematic and timely referral of patients requiring specialty consultation and follow-up. Manages the development, implementation, and enhancement of referral systems, strategies, and technologies.
  • Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company as it relates to their function.
  • Conducts non-clinical audits and owns facilitation and management of outcomes/actions.
  • Directs and owns clerical scheduling.
  • Actively engages with B2B clients and manages client grievances with a key focus on customer retention and growth whilst always delivering a high-quality service.
  • Ensures patient timely access to TeleMed2U’s Specialty Care Services. Monitors, promotes, and directs quality and productivity improvements as it relates to all services.
  • Provides oversight and direction to maximize provider utilization and maintains sufficient capacity planning by Specialty to meet the needs of our B2B clients and DTC patients.
  • Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper processes are in place for payer eligibility and copay validation to minimize leakage and uncollected charges.
  • Collaborate with the Directors of Clinical Operations and Manager of Credentialing Services to ensure providers are credentialed & contracted with the appropriate payers.

Education/ Experience Required

  • Minimum 1+ years of Healthcare Operations or related experience
  • Typically requires 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (required), Master’s Degree (preferred)
