Brief Overview:

TeleMed2U is seeking an experienced Implementation Manager with a demonstrable track record in Business Readiness and Project Management for multiple upcoming EHR replacement projects. The ideal candidate would have a background in Health information Technology, business analysis, workflow design and optimization, organizational change management and strategic project planning. The Implementation Manager will be accountable for partnering with operations leaders and staff along with enterprise staff in leading the design, development and management of key initiatives, ensuring programs are operationally sound, have measurable targets, are aligned to key performance indicators, orient to strategy, and deliver a positive ROI. As an Implementation Manager, this role will support complex initiatives from start to finish, driving measurable impact to the quintuple aim.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the documentation of as-is and the design of to-be business and clinical workflows
  • Develop project management plans and schedules for the implementation of a new electronic health records system
  • Develop change management plans with and understanding of organizational culture norms and strategic objectives
  • Report to an executive steering committee on the state of implementation and organizational change management
  • Assist Engineering and Product Management with the documentation of system requirements
  • Produce and conduct training for clinical and operational staff
  • Work hand-in-glove with the Ops and engineering team to implement our new custom-built EMR system to sunset old systems
  • Provide updates to company stakeholders on the rollout of the new platform by business unit
  • Coordinate with external 3rd party vendors as required to solve unexpected problems
  • Lead the training initiative for employees to adopt new technology and address challenges using ADKAR or similar framework
  • Lead efforts to extensively test the new system and identify gaps, work closely with the leadership and engineering team to fill those gaps
  • Have the ability to develop the overall strategy for implementation and getting granular on the ground with team members to ensure that strategy is executed flawless end to end
  • Meticulously map the “as-is” processes to the “to-be” processes to ensure a seamless migration from old applications to the new system


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing health information technology solutions in either a clinical setting, public health, or another health information service provider type of organization
  • Candidate will have accomplished project management plan and project schedule development, issues tracking and resolution, creation of risk management mitigation strategies, identification of organizational change management initiatives and have provided executive steering committee status reporting
  • Development and communication of change management plans to executive steering committee

Preferred Skills, Education and Professional Certifications:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree with related prior experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS), or Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), or Certified Professional in Digital Health Transformation Strategy (CPDHTS)
  • Familiarization with formal change management frameworks, ADKAR framework preferred
  • Healthcare/EMR experience preferred
