Brief Overview:

Job Description:  The Director of Business Development will be responsible for revenuegrowth for Telehealth Services by pursuing new and existing clientopportunities. They will collaborate closely with the management and operationsteams on lead generation, proposal submissions, and implementation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage sales opportunities from lead generation through proposal and contract execution, using various outreach methods and pipeline management for TeleMed2U.  
  • Clearly articulate the message around all company services and products.
  • Conduct business development initiatives, including lead generation, sourcing, and profitability analysis of prospective deals.
  • Work     closely with leadership and cross-functional members of the management team to drive and implement corporate strategy and long-range planning based on current portfolio opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare business development documents, presentations, and executive summaries.
  • Responsible for deal construction and negotiation.
  • Establish, initiate, and build direct contacts with potential new clients with Inpatient and Outpatient facilities, executives, and administrators, while providing support throughout the sales cycle.  
  • Identify and  establish new relationships in our primary sales areas that include but are not limited to: Hospitals, Out-Patient settings, Primary Care Providers, Correctional Agencies, Health Plans, and Employer Groups.
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer pipeline and service forecast data.
  • Create reports and other documents including but not limited to sales plans, identifying potential new clients, new and potential client logs, in-person  call logs.
  • Leverage long-term relationships to drive profitable revenue, customer satisfaction, and loyalty by determining customer needs and requirements.  
  • Interface with other lines of business, team members, field sales, and support reps     to collaborate and provide comprehensive customer solutions, service, and support.  Requires cross-functional collaboration with the TeleMed2U team to drive optimal sales performance.
  • Continuously maintain relationships with existing customers and build a target list of new prospects, organizing appointments and meetings with community, clinic, and hospital-based healthcare staff.
  • Demonstrate and present TeleMed2U, Inc. products and services to healthcare staff, including administrative staff, doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.
  • Continually perform relevant research to show the benefits of Telemedicine.
  • Attend and organize conferences/trade shows as needed.


  • Excellent relationship building, presentation, and both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated to achieve results through sales activities.
  • Capability to absorb and articulate technical information in a precise manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows,  Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook).



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Advanced degree is preferred
  • 4+ years related health care experience preferred
