The diagnosis of anxiety begins with a thorough evaluation. A mental health professional will explore thoughts, feelings, and behavior and compared to the criteria set forth in the DSM-5. Occasionally, your provider will also provide a physical exam or request a blood test to potentially rule out any other conditions that may be causing anxiety-like symptoms.
Anxiety disorders can be treated with medication, psychotherapy, or a combination of both. The best approach depends on specific factors for each individual, however the strongest research support for effective treatment is often in trials where a combination of medication and psychotherapy is implemented.

Medications are not included in the subscription cost. If your provider deems it appropriate to prescribe medication, they will send the prescription to the pharmacy of your choice. The cost of the medication will be paid directly to the pharmacy. If you have insurance, you can use your insurance to cover eligible medications this way.

We understand things happen. If you miss an appointment, we can work with you to get you rescheduled for another available slot. However, if you miss more than two consecutive appointments, we will have to cancel your subscription without a refund as this goes directly to the providers for the time that was set apart for you.
